I am a girl and I have experienced a lot of things in my life. The experiences are both bad and good. Every family wants that there should be a boy in the house to carry their name and fame.

In my family, my parents too want a boy. I and my sister always feel that we might had born as a boy? We never understood why boys are given so much priority. I have to face lots of problem in my house. I was 10 year old when my father passed away. My mother was very upset. By force my mother’s marriage was fixed with my uncle. He is very rude and horrible. He never gives any respect to my mother or his parents. He never accepted his elder brother’s children, nor he do any work. Everyone was upset with his behavior and nature. My grand-father and grand-mother always favour their children’s daughter because they
are boys. They get everything which they wish to get. But I always not. I always want to help my mother but I was helpless. I am lucky too because I got the education as I wished. Today I am in a very good college of my city. I dreamed to become a charted Accountant but my grand-father don’t want it. So, I decided to be a manager in Bank. In my life I suffered a lot.

As me, many girls have to face many problems. They do not get proper education because their parents want that they should marry. They thought that Girl’s education is not compulsory because they have to marry a day and they have to manage their house only. These thoughts are wrong. Some parents kill their female child or beat them. As per government rule, killing of female child before their birth or after their birth is illegal. They should get strict punishment.

Now-a-days girls can do everything that boys do. They can earn money and do job in any sector. Girls have proved that they are better than boys. Girls too are future of our country. They can challenge boys in any field.

The System of dowry should be banned strictly. If this will happen then no body will think that Girls are burden for them. All parents have to think that girls can do anything which boys do. They should not kill the female child. They should give the freedom to girls and encourage them in every field of life.

I am proud to be a girls and every girl should proud on themselves.
