At the age of 39, Saif Ali Khan finds himself at a comfortable place sans any insecurity. His career is going great (despite the debacle of his last film Kurbaan), his personal life is steady and he’s also won accolades from the government. The actor thinks his life couldn’t be better.

“Right now, I am excited about life because my life is in my control. Yes, everything is happening for me, good films, an award and ads,” Saif said in Chandigarh where he was with actress Chitrangada Singh.

The actor is now shifting his focus to his home production Agent Vinod co-starring his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor. The film, a spy thriller on the lines of Bond movies, will be shot on various locations throughout the world.

“The film belongs to a genre from the 1970s. Its shooting is in Europe, Delhi, Morocco and the pre-climax in Pakistan,” Saif revealed.

Saif recently became the youngest celebrity to win the Padma Shri award. The honour sparked a controversy whether he truly deserved the award or not.

“Whenever the government gives any award to me, there is a controversy… I have mellowed down and have stopped reacting to news. I am mature enough to handle things,” said Saif whose two other passions apart from acting is music and books.
