‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ a unique film: Priyanka Chopra.

Playing wife to seven hubbies and bumping them all off one by one is a role we rarely see Bollywood actresses in. But Vishal Bharadwaj, always striving for a greater milestone, is making Priyanka Chopra do exactly that in his on-the-floors movie Saat Khoon Maaf.

While launching the denim brand Levi’s Change your World campaign earlier this week, Priyanka told reporters: “It’s too early to speak about Saat Khoon Maaf but it will be a very unique film for sure.”

The movie is based on Ruskin Bond’s story Susanna’s Seven Husbands. Priyanka even had to turn down an offer from Hollywood for this film.

“I can associate only with the film I am committed to and I was committed to Vishal Bharadwaj….” she said.

A host of actors play Priyanka’s seven spouses in Saat Khoon Maaf. Among them are Naseeruddin Shah, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Irrfan Khan and even Naseer’s young son.

Priyanka, who worked with Vishal in Kaminey, said she’s delighted to be part of the director’s Saat Khoon Maaf as well.

“To work with Vishal again is a great opportunity because I think he is one of India’s most celebrated filmmakers. He has shown confidence in me, so I feel a bit nervous and anxious as well,” she said.
