Salman Khan’s such a long journey..
Salman Khan’s jubilance that peaked at the just concluded International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards in Colombo was dampened during the star’s return to his home city, Mumbai.
To fly back home, the swashbuckling star booked a chartered flight and roped in several other tinsel town celebs like Sonakshi Sinha, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sohail Khan, Zeenat Aman and Harman Baweja. It was supposed to be a three-hour journey. But it eventually took eight hours, thanks to constant delays, air traffic protocol and bad weather.
Firstly, the flight couldn’t take off on its scheduled time because they couldn’t get the permission to fly. After that the flight also witnessed air turbulence. And when the plane did reach Mumbai it was made to hover around in the sky before being given the permission to land.
Finally, everyone heaved a long sigh of relief upon touch-down.
