Not your picture, it’s your profile who attracts others

Since a very long time it is use to say that girls are very tough to handle. She always wants to look attractive and beautiful and for this she never ever mind to spend lot of time in getting herself ready. From dress to make-up and from companion to still pictures, she wants everything perfect with and about her.

On the contrary, we always found boys as careless about their pictures, dress they are wearing, their attitude and etiquettes as well. On the whole, we always think that boys are less complicated and far manageable than girls.

But now as the time has changed, so the mentality. In this facebook and online friendship era, when every one whether boy or girl, youth or adult, whoever she or he be, are very much interested to make online friends and increase their fan following. They do all the possible things to impress other person towards them.  As they say that first impression is a last impression people use to place their best photo as their profile picture (in facebook language DP). Without any further argument we can say that may be its possible that girls use to click their pictures in different poses and which they thought is the best among all, they place it on their profile. But now this tendency is getting increasing day by day in boys too.

Nowadays it’s usual to see boys getting conscious for their clothes and dashing pictures. If anyone wants to capture them in camera, they first want to get ensure about their looks and after the picture gets clicked, they want to see it first so that if it is not good, they can delete it.

The most important thing, to attract girls towards them and to make their male friends jealous they place it on their account, and obviously the best picture on the homepage. So that not only the girls who are already in friend list but the other on the net also find them dashing and attractive.

But do all the women and girls are so dumb to get attractive towards boys just because on the basis of their handsome profile picture?

Unfortunately the answer for this question is NO, because females are more intelligent than anyone can guess.

According to the new study profile picture is not enough to attract women towards you.  It’s possible that your nice photo can shot in her mind, but what your profile says is more important for any woman or girl.

The research that just had held by the researchers of Villanova university, America revealed that may be those guys who look more confident and mature in their pictures can spell bound the visitors of their profile but woman can predict about their nature and character just by going through their profile information and the contents.

This study was conducted on 50 female students in the age group of 22-25 years.  The researchers showed some profiles of boys to them and asked some personal question like: with whom they feel convenient to go for a date, short term relationship, and long term relation and opt for physical relationship.

Rebecca brand, who lead the story, said that the conclusion we get that the written profile of a person is equally important as their attractive picture. Boys who are more satisfied with their self (e.g. with their physical appearance, income, sense of humour) can create a very attractive profile than anyone else can.

Although this study was conducted by the western institute and on the western mentality, the results can be enforced on the Indian people as well especially, young boys and girls who are fully fond of social networking sites. They spend their precious time on chatting, making online friends, place beautiful pictures to attract them.

But is this all their life meant to be?  We should understand that the days we are passing through are the golden days of our life. Once they gone will never come back to us. So we should work hard to make the most of it. It’s not like that you leave the things that makes you happy but first concentrate on your studies, career, your parents, friends and then for a change these social sites.
