GROUND TABLE TO DRY UP WITHIN 15 YEARS
OBVIOUSLY,If you are reading this piece of work, you have woken up..But do you really have???
NO,NOT AT ALL.Go to washroom once again and check are all taps closed?”Oh!Sorry Washbasin tap is still running”.This is what you all must be thinking if you have not closed all the taps properly,Isn’t it?? BUT TILL WHEN??
Wake up dude !!If mine facts are not wrong then GROUND TABLE IS EXPECTED TO DRY UP WITHIN 15 YEARS .Doesn’t this statement gives goose-pimples to you??”People are not getting sufficient water to drink”; “Long queues for water” – I am sure we daily come across many such headlines in newspapers,tv etc BUT WHO CARES??No one..neither the one who is publishing these headlines nor the one who is reading..WAKE UP YOUR CONSCIENCE MAN!!WAKE UP..
For God’s sake..no not for God’s sake..I should say for human-beings sake..please change your mentality.Water is obviously a natural resource but it would not be any more if we continue its use in slapdash fashion.
My maid-she uses too much water for washing just two utensils. I scolded her and she replied as most of us do “FREE KA TO HAI”. I was not shocked because I had heard this reply many times alike both by lliterate and illiterates. If we are using ground water responsibility of taking its care increases all the more.
OFTEN IT HAPPENS – I WANNA MINIMISE ITS USE ..BUT WHERE??
- Soapy water that comes from washing machine can be used to clean washrooms. (this is what momma do).
- If you don’t have rain water harvesting plant – you can still collect a part of rain water in a container and it can be used for watering of plants..and yeah..one more use..you can also use it in inverter batteries as they demand distilled water and water of 2nd-3rd rain is purest..
- Close the tap in mid-intervals of brushing
Besides this if you have any other tip of saving water please do tell me..
yeah..one question to which I want answer..I HAVE SEEN MANY PEOPLE..WHAT THEY DO IS.. THEY CONNECT A PIPE TO TAP AND WASTE WATER IN FRONT OF THEIR HOMES,SHOPS OR ON ROADS..I AM NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THEIR THIS “UTILISATION OF WATER”..IF YOU HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THIS PLEASE DO TELL ME…
