Three years of U.P.A.Govt.-It’s Failure

In my opinion the basic reason for the failure of U.P.A. Govt. is the aspirations of the congress party to remain always as a “Ruling Party” at any condition and the supreme power of the government pertaining commond to rule must remain in the hands of “Nehru- Gandhi’s Family”
It is a drawback of the present political system that except congress party and B.J.P. there is no other political party whose standing is of national level.For this very reason the congress party knowingly treats the B.J.P. as it’s rival in commond and to manipulate this fact congress party always emphasizes B.J.P. as a non-secular party in terms of “Savarn Hindu Castism” as well as “Non-Harijans” on account of it’s relation with R.S.S. and other Hindu Organizations. In spite of this fact B.J.P. itself has a difficiency that in such a long run of time of four decades the party is suffering from a political indecission for maintaining it’s national immage as an secular party gaining the political support of all the sectors of the society. Further party has no concrete base of an unanimous hold of it’s central leadership without any controversy in between it’s leaders and as a result of which party has not acheived so for political favourism of the public in general. Therefore B.J.P. is now-a-days lacking in today’s political pratice of “Vote Management System” and therefore B.J.P. remain always far behind in gaining the “Ruling Mejority”
Rest political parties are of regional level and therefore these political parties always prefer regional issues of their own interest against national issues of public interest. Therefore their political activities are always confined with their such interests which enable them to achieve and maintain the maximum mejority votes and support of their favourite group of people for whom they are running their party as their well-wishers. Due to this compulsion these political parties very well aware of the fact that if their party wants to survive they have to motivate as well as mobilise the vested interests of their voters at any cost. Therefore regional parties are bound to adopt party’s interest based politics instead of public interests based politics of national level. Thus these regional parties adopts political tactics in place of an equitable and transparent justified politics. Further these regional political parties are very well aware of the fact that without the support of “Ruling Party” their such ambitions will not be fulfilled and further they also understands that if they become the part of the “Government” then they are free to easyly complete their missions without facing any problem because as and when any awakward position arises from their own activities they can blame easily the “Ruling Party” for it’s loose administration and very easily they can clean their hands in the name of public interest based politics. Thus these regional political parties adopt dual dealings in terms of “Okhalee Ke Andar Aur Chot Se Bahar”. This is the very reason in my opinion that the “Third Front” is not comming into existence even after the many efforts of various leaders of the regional parties because these leaders are fully aware of the fact that at the time of failure of the “Third Front Government” the “Front” will be directly blamed and further they also know that in the present trend of the voters it is not necessary that the “Front” will certainly gain the ruling mejority through refrendum. Therefore these regional political parties always prefer not to establish “Third Front” but to make alliance with “Ruling Party” because it is an easier way to fulfill their aspirations.
Therefore now-a-days number of regional political parties are increasing day by day. These newly organised political parties on the lines of other regional parties for their own survival apply the tactics of mobilising the vested interests of that particular group of peoples to which they are related with and for this purpose these parties provoke such issues which satisfy only the vested interests of that particular group of peoples though such issues are harmful and unjustified for other group of the society and thus these political parties are indirectly causing the social imbalences in the name of social engineering with in different sectors of the society which effects the sincere working of certain groups of the peoples and imports dissatisfaction. At the time of “General Election” these regional political parties in order to fulfill their ambitions provokes the local issues as well as vested interests of that particular group of peoples to whom they leads and ultimately they successfully divert the mentality of the peoples from national issues to local issues specially towards the vested interests of that regional party’ interests and ambitions. Thus these political parties successfully manipulate the “Vote Management System” in their own favour. This manipulation directly effects the refrendum with the result that no political party gains the clear mejority for forming the “Government”. In these circumtances the national parties’s status become so dwarf that they are compelled to take the help and support of these regional political parties on the terms and conditions as dictated by that regional political party itself. This effects the strong governence as well as the public benificial policies as required by social and economical groth of the society. Thus “Public Interests” fails against the “Vested Interests” of these regional political parties. This causes stagma opon that national party which seeks support of these regional parties because the “Ruling Party” is unable to take any hard decission to strengthen the working of the “Government” in public interest and ultimately the “Ruling Party” seeks failure.
As earlier said that now-a-days congress party is full of aspirations to remain always as a “Ruling Party” at any condition and further it is also suffering from a political indecission for solving the burning issues connected with the actual dail needs of the general public and further there is no competent central leadership to commond as well as to guide it’s members of the party for the fruitile working and simultenously congress party has no such Imminent Personality just like Pt.nehru and Mrs. Indira Gandhi to quickly resole the public grevances and to move forward as the time needs. The regional parties take the benifit of this difficiency they form alliance with congress party in which these parties have the super role which causes these terrible situations time to time and therefore new scandals are uncovered day by day. In my opinion untill and unless this political situation will not be reformed any alliance will not succeed and every government built up through an alliance will certainly collapse causing stagma on democracy. In my opinion this is the root cause of U.P.A.Government’s failure in general.
