Dr Subramaniam Swamy, replying on a news channel said that Praveen Togadia’s speech is not a hate speech .

English Channels with their typical anti hindu bias and their mixing and stating their master’s views as news and in their typically prosecutor cum judge cum jury style , pronounced Togadia guilty and raised a clamour for his arrest equating him with Owaisi .

It is a great injustice to Dr Togadia ,who had to reply to Owaisi who had earlier delivered eleven such speeches without any action by government ( web news).

Actually if analysed neutrally Dr Togadia’s speech may actually have even benefical side effects for nation in preventing another Gujrat train burning type misadventure by muslims surcharged by Owaisi.

Akbaruddin Owais’si speech is a dagerous hate speech because he makes his audience hate hindus by the following

1.He declared that if police is removed for fifteen minutes twenty five crore muslims , being braver , would teach 100 crore hindus a lesson .He also incited them about police .

This was extremely dangerous and such misadventurous provocation had to be nipped in bud. Government and muslim bodies remained silent and crowd of jihadi listeners went hysteric in support . Dr Togadia’s , little imprudently worded ,warnings about Assam and North East would certainly make Hyderabadi hot head pragmatic enough as not to attempt another Assam or Godhra train burning .

So while Owaisi’s speech was an extremely dangerous hate speech , Togadia’s speech in reply was factual and would have really sobered hot heads from trying misadventures.

But it could have been better worded.

2. Owaisi said insultingly that hindu gods and festivals keep multiplying unlike muslims . He asked from where Ram Navmi and Hanuman Jayanti sprung up. Similarly he said from where Bhagya Laxmi has sprung up from Laxmi . Togadia did not insult any muslim uniquely Indian, Prophet’s birthday , Pirs’ Urs or similar festivals .

3. Owaisi said Ram could have been born in Haryana’s Kaushlya Puram village not Ayodhya as mentioned in Ramayan , as there s a belief in village that Kaushlya came there to give birth to Ram . He doubted Ayodhya’s mention in Ramayan as Ram’s birthplace of nine lac years back .He ridculed and wanted proof about Ram’s reality or birth.

Dr. Togadia reminded him as per folklore Prophet went to heaven on a white horse and upon return stepped in Al Asqa mosque location in Jerusalam . Can Muslims give

proof of this belief.

Why is Owaisi wanting proof of Ayodhya . Dr. Togadia did not mention disparagingly about any muslim symbol of worship or practice .

4. Owaisi called RSS , BJP , VHP etc as snake charmers snakes , Dr. Togadia did not take any name of any muslim organisation but only used the term one dog of Hyderabad .

In short Dr. Togadia replied in his style , little careless about selection of words , to grave and very dangerous provocation by Owaisi as respectable muslim organisaton did not condemn it till hell broke .His timely warnings may prevent recurrence of Godhra or Assam by misguided followers of Owaisi.

It is incorrect to equate him with Owaisi and Dr. Swami’s assretion about his speech not being a hate speech needs to be evaluated dispassionately
